It's been a crazy few weeks!

So much has happened since my last post. To make sure I post about everything, and don't go crazy in doing so, I'm going to make a list! Also, there are a TON of pictures. Here we go:

1. Scott and Judy, Tim's parents, visited us last week for a whole week. I loved having them here, but missed not spending all day with Timmy. We would wake up, take Tim to school, have an awesome adventure, then pick Tim up, eat dinner, and go home. Poor Timmy missed out on most of the fun! But, he loved that they were here and that I was having a good time. Here are some pictures of what we did.

The first thing we did was drive all of the 17-mile drive through Pebble Beach. We stopped at this bench and took pictures. Here we are with Judy.

Timmy became such a tourist when we stopped at the "Lone Cypress." Look at him taking pictures like EVERYONE else! :]

Scott, Judy, and I ate breakfast on Lighthouse at this cute Victorian Restaurant one morning.

While in Carmel we stopped at a Cafe for lunch and found these Gluten Free cookies for sale. It was delicious.

Scott and Judy at one of the wineries in Carmel Valley. As you can see we bought wine.

Wine that we bought from one of the Carmel Valley wineries. It was very yummy and probably one of my favorites, ever!

Oops! I spilled a little. Couldn't let it go to waste. Over the week I became a wine freak, where before Scott and Judy came I hated wine. HAHA!

We went into the Coach store, twice. I couldn't pass up a deal at the Coach outlet and neither could Judy. She bought her first Coach bag in Carmel. Isn't that a great story?!

I also bought a Coach bag. This messenger is my new camera bag. It is so functional and pretty.

We had a fabulous time with them and were sad to see them leave. Thank you so much for all the fun and goodies!!!

2. Miley Jo Martin was born! Our sweet goddaughter made her appearance on June 30th. She is the prettiest thing we have ever seen and can't wait to love all over her come December break! Her wonderful parents, and our dearest friends, Anne Marie and Jeremiah, have been keeping us satisfied with pictures and videos of this adorable child. It feels like we are there with her!

The Sunday after she was born my parents brought lunch to the Martins and loved all over Miley. Unfortunately for me, now they want grand-babies. :]

Here's the ruffle butt. She's adorable!

That's a pretty face.

So, I bought her this pacifier. The only reason I bought HER a BLUE pacifier was because I couldn't find any cute pink ones that followed the specifications that her mommy wanted. And now her mommy makes fun of me and the blue pacifiers. :]

Anne Marie has been such a good friend. She keeps me up-to-date on what the girls are doing by sending me pictures, constantly! I love it! This is of Miley's first lunch out at Mama Mia's. Apparently it's where they took all of their girls for their first outing after they were born. Sweet tradition.

3. The Air Force gave my husband a four day weekend last week for the 4th of July. It was heaven. We basically did nothing but watch movies at home and eat take-out, but it was perfect. We did one "outing" to the Carmel Beach.

Timmy and I on the beach. By the time we got there it became overcast and very cold. :[

I photoshopped some of the pictures I took. Here is my sweet Timmy. Love that verse- 1 Timothy 1:5.

And another- Psalm 119:105.

4. Lastly, some of y'all know that Timmy's truck died a few weeks ago after a long life. :] She was supposed to make the trek to California with his parents, but she died the day before they were going to leave. They ended up flying here. For the past week we have been going back and forth deciding whether or not we needed another vehicle. So far we have been doing well with just one, but that's only because I haven't started a job yet. Timmy started looking on craigslist and found a cheap 1984 Chevy Blazer that is in good shape. We met the owner, rode it around, talked negotiations, and bought it the next day for $2,000 less than he was asking. WHOOP! We feel so blessed and I am ready to have Timmy take himself to school so I can get a little more sleep in the morning. :]

Timmy with Beast (he named her). :]

That's my plan at least. :]

Prayer request: I applied for a great kindergarten aide job in Carmel and would appreciate it if y'all would pray that God sends me in the right direction.
