Life: Pant suits and apps...

Yesterday, the hubby and I were waiting around for dinnertime so we went into my favorite thrift shop.  I was just "looking", of course, when whatdoyaknow I find a cuter than cute pant suit. In the coming months I foresee many job interviews and we thought it would be a good idea for me to get a nice pant suit. Say hello to my new used Ann Taylor pant suit that I got for just $20! Say what!? That's right; be jealous!

Once we were home I started surfing Instagram and stumbled upon multiple people using this new app called A Beautiful Mess and I fell in love! So, of course, I bought it! So cute!

As you can see I had a fantastic day {except for the day long inservice I sat through, ugh}!

Life: Welcome to our family iPhone 5!

Good evening lovelies! We have been busy busy this last bit of September. Teaching 1st and 2nd grade has been fun. I love my kiddos and their cuteness. I've got some cute stuff to share that they've given me or made me, but I need to take pics and then I'll post.

Now, on to the awesomeness. Tim and I got the new iPhone 5s last Friday. IN WHITE. I've been waiting 2 YEARS for a white iPhone. It feels so good. They are the coolest and I am so excited to use it every day. When we got them, though, I was freaking out. The Apple Store didn't have ANY cases for the 5. Not a single one! I must have a case. I drop my stuff like nobodies business. I held on to that phone like it was a million bucks. We drove over to Target and TADA, there were cases. I slapped that baby on and felt so safe.

The one I chose was this Speck Blue Birds Case. It is adorable on my WHITE iPhone.



Then I got excited and went online and searched for some more cute cases and found this adorable Cuptakes Light Pink Chevron Case. I ordered it last Friday and it arrived the next Friday. The case is awesome and is my favorite so far. They have a ton of different styles that you can't get anywhere else. They also have a great app for the iPhone and iPad that I use. The calendars are always my lock screen pics.



In other news, Tim and I decided to join Weight Watchers. We haven't felt very motivated with the few diets and work out plans that we've tried. There is a local Weight Watchers office where we can go to meetings and weigh in. We start this week. The great part is that I can track everything on my phone through their app and I don't have to worry about carrying around a little book and calculator. Wish us luck. :]

Olympic Addict...

Hi, my name is Charlotte and I am addicted to the Olympics.

Ever since the opening ceremony I have been keeping up-to-date on all my favorite sports and athletes. I even started following them all on twitter so that I could see what they're up to over there in London. Right now I am loving "my girls"; the 5 gymnasts. And of course Ryan Lochte! If you have an iPhone you should download the "London 2012 Results" app. It is awesome and has all the info on your favorite athletes.

Enough about my addiction!

This past week has been crazy. I colored my hair for the first time EVER! I've always wanted to and finally decided that it was time (with a little nudging from my husband).



I also received these beautiful prints from Jones Design Company in the mail! I just love them so much, especially the cupcake one!



And just yesterday this sweet thing joined my iPhone case family. It is just adorable. You can find one here.



I started going into my classroom last week and yesterday. I pretty much have everything where I want it! So, for my teacher friends here's a funny!
